Missouri Southern State Baseball to Host Skills and Evaluation Camp

Posted by MOBN at 24th August, 2008

Missouri Southern State Baseball Head Coach Bryce Darnell has announced that the Lions will host a Skills and Evaluation Camp for high school baseball players on Saturday, October 11th, 2008 at Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin, Missouri.

The camp is an opportunity for high school baseball players to be evaluated by college coaches. The camp will consist of a professional style tryout followed by live baseball games. Each player will be evaluated on running, fielding, throwing, and hitting and then will be given the evaluation before leaving camp. This is an excellent opportunity for players to see if they can play at the collegiate level.

Camp is cost is $50 pre-registered and $60 the day of the camp. A rain date has been scheduled for Sunday, October 12th.
