The 17th annual University of Missouri Baseball Camps will be held December 26-30. The Tigers baseball program will be offering three 2-day instructional baseball camps for players in grades 9-12.
Instruction will center around hitting, pitching, fielding, baserunning, team offense and team defense. All hitters and pitchers will be individually videotaped and reviewed with an instructor.
It is interesting to note that in the 16-year history of the camp, over 265 campers have gone on to play professional or college baseball. Twenty one of Missouri’s current players attended Mizzou’s Winter Baseball Camp. The 2006 Winter Camp alone produced 31 campers at the professional or college level.
